Susan Joy Hassol is a climate change science communicator known for her ability to translate science into English. For two decades, she has been working with scientists to help make their findings more accessible to policymakers and the public.
Susan has written and edited numerous reports about climate change and its impacts (see Publications), testified before Congress, written an HBO documentary, appeared on national radio and television shows, and spoken to a variety of audiences.
In September 2006, Susan was honored by the Climate Institute with its first ever award for excellence in climate science communication.
