Doreen DiCarlo

Ms. DiCarlo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Resources Analysis and Certification in Environmental Studies from Florida Atlantic University. She is also certified in Natural Areas Management from The Nature Conservancy and University of Florida.

Ms. DiCarlo is currently a Program Coordinator for the Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites (CICS) where she is responsible for program management and coordination of activities associated with the National Climate Assessment. These include meetings, events, travel and staff logistics. Prior to joining CICS she was the Administrator for Special Projects at the Florida Center for Environmental Studies at Florida Atlantic University. Her responsibilities included, managing conferences, symposia, meetings, and workshops on climate and other environmental topics. She also managed related federal, state, and regional contracts and grants. Her earlier career was in solid waste and recycling in both Florida and Ohio.

Ms. DiCarlo joined CICS-NC as a program coordinator on August 2, 2011.
